The Atexxo ATEX Zone 2 Explosion-Proof Battery (CPT-EX-HIK-BATTERY) is engineered specifically to power high-torque cordless impact drivers and power tools safely inside hazardous gas and vapor locations. Designed for Zone 2 environments (the European equivalent to NEC Class 1 Division 2 / C1D2), this battery eliminates the risk of ignition during critical maintenance and assembly operations. It allows oil, gas, and petrochemical workers to eliminate cumbersome pneumatic hoses while maintaining maximum field efficiency and power.
Featuring ATEX Increased Safety protection, this 36V, 2.5Ah battery integrates seamlessly with modified intrinsically safe trigger circuits and non-sparking brushless motors. Built to withstand demanding field conditions, it delivers uninterrupted power for driving, drilling, and wrenching applications. Note: Battery charging and replacement must always take place in a designated safe (non-hazardous) area.
