The CID1 ALTAIR® 4XR Multigas Monitor is a rugged, fast-responding 4-gas detection device engineered for demanding hazardous environments, including chemical processing, oil & gas facilities, and manufacturing plants. Designed to monitor combustible gases (LEL), oxygen deficiency/enrichment (O₂), and toxic gases such as CO, H₂S, SO₂, and NO₂, this monitor ensures worker safety in critical applications. With global intrinsic safety ratings (Class I, Div 1, ATEX, IECEx) and integrated safety features like MotionAlert™ and InstantAlert™, it provides continuous protection across harsh industrial sites.
Powered by patented MSA XCell® ASIC-driven sensors, the ALTAIR 4XR achieves response times under 15 seconds—up to twice as fast as the industry average—while using 50% less test gas during calibration. Built for extreme field operations, it features a glove-friendly single-button interface, an ultra-rugged rubber-armored housing, and 24-hour continuous battery runtime to support long multi-shift duties.
