The Federal Signal GEN-IIC-25W is an explosion-proof, 25-watt non-metallic re-entrant horn loudspeaker designed specifically for high-reliability public address and general alarm applications in hazardous industrial environments. Built with high-durability glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) and certified ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 for Gas Group IIC, it delivers vital emergency notifications and voice broadcasts without risk of ignition. Its robust construction and IP66 rating ensure superior resistance against corrosion, dust, moisture, and harsh chemical exposure in heavy industrial operations.

Delivering a maximum audio output of up to 123 dBA at 1 meter, the GEN-IIC-25W features a 100 Vrms line transformer with selectable power taps (2 W, 4 W, 6 W, 25 W) to easily adjust sound pressure levels based on surrounding noise conditions. Equipped with a ratcheted stainless steel U-mounting bracket that locks firmly into position without slipping, it allows flexible positioning and simple installation across challenging field spaces. Designed for extreme service, it operates reliably across extreme temperature ranges from -50°C to +65°C (-58°F to +149°F).
