Built with a 12″ x 12″ x 8″ nominal interior volume, this enclosure provides robust containment and protection across Class I, II, and III hazardous environments. It serves as a vital safeguard for critical power and signal distribution in harsh onshore and offshore operating zones.
Designed for exceptional field reliability, the EJB121208 features a copper-free aluminum body and cover, offering outstanding corrosion resistance without adding unnecessary weight. It includes a special neoprene cover gasket that provides an IP66/NEMA 4 watertight seal for damp locations subjected to heavy water spray. For convenient installation and servicing, the enclosure is equipped with captive, triple-lead quick-release stainless steel cover bolts, a wide ground joint opening, and detachable mounting feet.
